The main objective of this policy is to formulate better and workable guidelines for the provincial departments regarding various aspects of life in the cities.
Under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Urban Policy 2030, guidelines have been set for increasing employment in cities, creating partnership opportunities for various business classes, increasing economic and social development, creating environmental stability and modern transportation and sanitation systems.
The policy will provide a clear outline for the provincial government reforms for the cities and will also determine the best investment for the urban development priorities.
The Urban Policy and Planning Unit requests the public, including the government, semi-governmental and many institutions and organizations, to submit their suggestions, opinions and objections to the Urban Policy and Planning Unit, Planning and Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to make the Urban Policy of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa more efficient and effective.
